"Childish way! Knives are only for pussies!" and just as Berry's father took a few steps forward, William retreated the same distance, took out a couple of knives and threw them one after another towards Callom.

The latter expected arrows like before, yet to face thrown out knives. Yet that didn't change anything of his tactic, as he simply deflected them. Even from such a close distance, William's ability to throw them wasn't that great compared with a dark gold spirit master's swinging sword speed.
