I understand the drama in the book is not enough but this is just the beginning. These first chapters are just like an introduction to Reeva's life and how she met all the people who changed her life in different ways (horrible and good). I could easily start from where all the drama begins but I chose to do it this way. So read more and all the drama will unfold, I just hope you have patience for that ;)

"Get in the car Nathan" my dad yells at him.
The rest of us are in the car already ready to move into our new house. Our luggages and other properties are already in the house.
We are all excited
Nathan runs into the car and locks it and my dad starts the car.
The drive to the house isn't that long as we are already there in less than an hour. The house is so beautiful and I can't wait to get to my room.
"Your luggages are in your rooms already" my mom says with a smile on her face.
We all walk into the house. Its already perfectly furnished.
We all explore the house and there is no doubt that a specialist did the interior designs.
I go upstairs and locate my room. I told my parents that I would want the walls white with some purple designs and purple furnitures with purple neon light and lilac curtains. and it's even more beautiful than I imagined.
I arrange my things in my room and then go and see my siblings room and they are equally beautiful.
I explore the compound too, and it's big and beautiful. There a large swimming pool at the back yard and the front lawn is perfect and there a water fountain at the front. And there's also a garden and an artificial lake at one corner.
There a space on the roof and I go up and its beautiful, there is a jacuzzi in the middle and there are rails to protect anyone from falling. The whole house is beautiful.
My dad's business must have really progressed for us to live in a place like this.

Today is Monday and the first day of school for second term.
I took second position in my class and I'm wondering who beat me.
I'm very early in school today so I can see the results. I enter my classroom and walk to the notice board in the class. The person who got first position is 'Owolabi Temitope'. I don't know her, she must be an introvert, and to think we are in the same class. I thought it will be Caleb tho.
Soon other students start entering the class. And I see Stephanie "Hey Stephanie"
"Hey"
"Do you know who Owolabi Temitope is?" I ask her immediately
"A girl in this class, she's quiet and she usually tops the class speaking of that what is your position"
"Go look at the notice board" I tell her and she rolls her eyes but still goes.
"Well you took second, congratulations baby I knew you were a smart ass" she squeals hugging me but I remain still.
"What??"
"I'm just used to topping my class" I shrug
"Oh, but you still have this term and third term to beat her"
"Yeah, where's the Temitope sef?"
"Look at her there"
"She only passed me with 0.5, that sucks, I was this close to beating her average, if not for that useless Economics of a subject" I groaned.
"It's alright, don't get moody"
"Ok, but I want to have a word with that girl"
"Girl chill out"
"Relax I'm not going to be rude"
I walk to Temitope's desk with Steph trailing behind me and I stood in front of her.
"Hey I'm Reeva nice to meet you" I say stretching out my hands towards her.
"I know who you are, I'm Temitope and nice to meet you too" she says shaking my hands.
"I guess we know each other then , you've got yourself a new competitor in this class and that's me, I won't be easy on you next time so don't slack"
"I won't take it easy either"
"Ok let's see about that" I say with a smirk playing on my lips "and I mean no harm, it's just a friendly challenge" I smile sweetly at her.
"Ok no probs"
"Bye"
"Bye" she replies and I walk away with Stephanie following me
"Oh Reeva you really have to study more because that girl is on fire, she's already reading first day of school look" Stephanie says pointing at her.
"Who doesn't?" I shrug
"Oh I forgot, you are a nerd" she says rolling her eyes.
"Hey, I'm no nerd"
"Never argue with reality" she says but I just keep quiet and sit down bringing out my Economics textbook to read.
"See what I said" she says again and I ignore her and she walk to her seat.

Months later
"I will miss you" I tell Michael
"I will miss you even more" he says giving me a peck on the cheek.
"Why do you have to study in England you could just go to one of the private universities here, like Pan-Atlantic" I suggest
"That's what my dad wants and if I say 'no' now that I've gotten admission he'll be mad" Michael says with sad eyes.
"Yeah, I just wish you can stay here, but you'll be coming back during the holidays right?"
"I'm not really sure about coming back during my first years but from second and third year I'll be coming" he says and my eyes well up.
Long distance relationships kills you slowly.
"Don't cry, baby" he says hugging me and that's all it takes for the tears to start falling.
"Why, why??" I sob "I'll miss you so much baby"
"I'll miss you too, it's ok I don't like white chicks anyway" he says
"There are black girls in England"
"Oh yeah right, but don't worry we'll see. I will call you everytime I'm free and we'll facetime at least two times every week" he promises.
"Promise?"
"Promise" "don't cheat on me, ok?"
"Yes, ma" he salutes and I giggle.
