Chapter 68: A slip
Alexa had her heart in her mouth as Christopher finally returned to the dock, allowing her to catch her breath as she clambered down.
Her chest heaved as she watched him alight. Her heart was pounding too quickly, and her bloodstream flooded with a deluge of adrenaline.
Spurred by the adrenaline streaming on her inside like a miniature whirlwind, she hopped onto him, wounding her hands around his neck. Blessed with good reflexes, Christopher caught her by the waist, effortlessly hoisting her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist.
Her fingers tangled with the wet locks of his perfect blonde hair as she seized his lips with a wild force he promptly matched, swiftly turning the kiss into something more fierce and passionate, almost stealing her breath away.
