Selena's POV

"Why do you keep fighting with your brother because of me, Stanley?" I asked my best friend the moment I got inside his car, and he slowly turned his head to me.

It should be a beautiful morning since I could see the sun creeping on the horizon, the colorful reflection of the sunrise warms my heart, but I couldn't stop feeling weary.

"I am angry with him, I heard he was telling his teammates to back off," he replied.

"What do you mean? Skyler doesn't want them to play basketball with him?" I asked confused why he has to do that, even if I am not a super fan of basketball I felt proud of our school for having the best basketball team all over Santa Clara, but it pained me because it reminded me of my foolishness.
