Chapter 6: The director finds out about his son's death
The director goes straight to the VIP room to meet the assemblyman, as he enters the assemblyman said you are back, so what have you concluded with the surgeon? He went in and said you asked to see me me sir, I hope all is well. The director said yes, it is about the assemblyman surgery, the senior professor cut in that yes there should be no problem with that, I will be leading the surgery myself so just have to let us know when you conclude on carrying out the surgery, then the director said, there are some issues on doing the surgery, issues? The director said that arrogant and untrained lady, Catherine must have pulled some string because the assemblyman insisted that she is the one he wants on performing his surgery, Never! Said by the senior professor, how could that possible, she is not even a surgeon here anymore but why?

The senior director said this is serious, the director then asked who is there and the secretary reply I am here sir, the director said come in right now, go and call me surgeon Catherine now. Surgeon Catherine outside with physician John waiting for the directors opinion but John did not know what is going on asked, Catherine what will you do now? She replied I will have to negotiate with them, I guess , before they change the assemblyman's mind. She said the director is a strong man and can do anything to change his mind so we need to act fast. John asked what do you intend to do now but Catherine still replied you just watch me. Where they sat outside, the secretary approached them and said, ``The director asked you to come see him in his office, surgeon Catherine. She replied with Ok, I am coming
Surgeon Catherine goes straight to the directors office, she knocks and the director asks her to come in, I am here sir. The director said so you are showing the kind of a person you are now right? After what you have done to me I just let it go but to ask you to leave, you still have the guts to come back here and threaten me? You are an ungrateful witch. but you know I won't let this go, surgeon Catherine replied I am sorry sir, I do not mean to act this way. Because of your son's surgery which I have to do I did not attend to my Mom and let her die. If not for your son's surgery that I have to do,who knows maybe I might get a chance to see my mom at least for the last time or probably save her life. The director said what! You mean that is why you kill my son too, my only son. Catherine said I am sorry for your loss sir but the surgery went well sir before I left the nurse there and the senior professor was even already in the surgery room before I took the surgery from him and he left, in fact he sent a nurse to bring a drink for me immediately I finish the surgery, guess what sir, immediately I drank the drink I just feel sleepy and slept off.
The director cut in that shut up, that is a lie, everybody knows how the senior director adores you, you yourself knows how he likes you, how dare you lie to him like that, Ok you do not want to admit that it was a medical mistake right? Catherine replied I never made a mistake during surgery and you know sir, all my records are clean because once I accept a surgery, definitely it's what I can do and will be able to do. The director said forget about the trash you are saying, about your negotiation, you insist that either I allow you to perform the surgery here or I transfer him to your local hospital on the island right? Surgeon Catherine asked him with yes sir, then the director said Ok, I will allow you do it here but on some condition, Catherine asked what condition sir? The director said you can go, don't bother going to the assemblyman again. I will call you when we schedule the day and time for the surgery. Catherine replied Ok sir and left.
