CHAPTER 121 

Scarlet drew her brows together. She did not respond to his push at first until she felt his breath tickle on top of her ear. 

"Jasper."

"Hmm?"

She swallowed hard once more. This was the first time she called his name with less anger or malice in it. It was soft, calm and yet shy. 

He wished he could freeze time and capture this moment with her. 

"Yes, Scarlet? Open up."

She smiled, revealing a nice set of teeth. How had he noticed she had not yet opened her eyes? 

"What are you waiting for?"

"My bad," Scarlet apologized. 

The first in history. She wasn't this courteous and bashful; he knew he must have blown her mind off for her to do this. 

Just the thought made him realize he may have caught her fancy. 

Without further ado, she blinked, taking her time to open her eyes slowly.
