CHAPTER 120 

Thanks to permission from the king, Jasper decided to up his game with Scarlet even more. 

Getting to her room that morning, he repeated the same routine and led her out of the main building to the courtyard. 

All the while her eyes looked gloomy. She was least interested in anything at this moment and just wanted a breath of fresh air. 

Irrespective of the bore in her face, Jasper kept his lips sealed and did not say anything to her. 

By the time they arrived close to the stables, Scarlet's brows quirked up. 

"Uh, I know I am bored and all with our wandering of the palace grounds, however, I did not see this coming. Did you get tired of things so much to the point that you wish to ride within the palace?"

Her lips held a faint smile that evaded her eyes, even though she teased him.

"I didn't know you were that bored enough to care," Jasper fired back.
