CHAPTER 92 – Scared Claire

A sharp cry tore out of Fearghal's lips, not expecting such action from Zale.

Instantly warm liquid began to flow out from the injury on his arm but Zale remained unmoved and pressed the tip of the sword against his back once more. 

"Lie once more and you shall face even greater punishment. And just so you know, taking the path by the left would lead us to Chase's house. Not the one by your right or centre. Now retrace your steps before I forget my mercy and kill you."

"If you knew, why then did you…"

"To test how truthful and sincere you were. You are nothing in that line. Turn. I won't ask again."

"Okay but I need to treat my hand."

"One more complaint or delay, and I can as well kill you here. How would you love that?"

"Fine."
