CHAPTER 83 - Dawn's Pain and Grace

Paving her way past the curtains, the young maid walked into the bedroom with her head lowered.

"My Queen," she said softly.

"Yes, dear. Lift your head and speak with ease."

Sitting on the big king-size bed in the bed chamber, with her legs crossed and a hand on her hips, Queen Dawn's lashes fluttered as her eyes landed on the smallish-looking girl standing before her.

"Your Majesty, I was walking back here when I happened to see Princess Scarlet's maid come out of Queen Diamonique's chambers," she reported.

"Hmm, that seems pretty normal," she stated.

"Yes, but this is not the first time I have seen her walk out of that chamber."

Instantly, Dawn's brows knitted at the information. 

At first, she did not wish to think anything about the situation, given the fact that Scarlet was Diamonique's daughter but knowing the latter very well, she was capable of doing anything.
