CHAPTER 165 

At the same time, Zale and Salem looked up to see Carl fighting with Pearl. It was truly a sight to behold, seeing the calm young girl fighting well even though there was some sloppiness to how she fought.

He knew the movements weren't her own. She barely had time to perfect it but only copied it. 

Thanks to that and her powers, she gave Carl a painful beating and left the latter standing, barely able to stand on his feet. 

Filled with anger, she lifted both swords, getting ready to strike him. Zale's eyes flew wide open.

"No," Salem mouthed, watching his partner about to meet his cruel end. 

Zale's eyes squinted; he lifted his sword and caught it before sending it straight at Carl.

Swoosh!

Pearl stopped in her tracks when she saw the ice swords pointing at her from Carl's body. Her jaw dropped, disbelief in her eyes.
