Chapter 14: Round Two (I)
"You know, sometimes size can be a problem. Bigger isn't always better" A voice boomed and I tried to frantically look around, but I realized that I couldn't… Moments later, I felt my soul leave my body when I laid my eyes on the colossal figure in front of me… That's a Hydra… That's a motherfucking space Hydra!!
The Hydra was casually holding a sun in its hand… Is that even possible? No! I have bigger concerns than that… The last thing I remember was Rikiya knocking me off my ass, but then how did I come here? Did I already die? Was it the Hydra who sent me to the MHA world?
"I am trying, alright, but I can't" The Hydra spoke sullenly. It spoke. It fucking spoke! Is the Hydra pouting? What the fuck? Then all of a sudden, her gaze focused on me and I froze… Don't eat me. Don't fucking eat me. I am just a soul wandering through space, don't mind me, you mighty Hydra. Keep playing with that sun.
"Teach me!!" The Hydra demanded all of a sudden with all of her attention focused on me. Fuck… I am going to die again and this might be the final time. I knew that I couldn't move, but I still tried to no avail.
"Haha… You are a shameless little thing, aren't you? You still want help from me?" A voice asked and once again I tried to look around instinctively… Who is that? Who is talking? Why can't I see them? Then they must be out of my field of vision, but why does it feel like I am the one who is speaking even though we sound nothing alike?
"Yes, I do" The Hydra nodded its heads frantically. Now that I think about it… The Hydra is speaking with its mouths closed, but so could I understand it? Additionally, it should be impossible to talk in space, right? It wasn't opening its mouths to talk then how did I know that it was the Hydra that was talking?
"Gahaha! I like you! I like you, little creature. Watch me carefully" The voice laughed gleefully and agreed to help her and then all of a sudden, the Hydra started to become smaller… Eh? What the hell is happening? The Hydra wanted to become smaller, but the other voice is yet to show it, right?
I could feel a tingle all over my body… It felt like I was growing bigger. It was the same feeling I felt whenever I would start to grow bigger while using my Quirk… Then all of a sudden something clicked inside my mind… I was not here, but I was experiencing everything through someone else's eyes, but who?
Why was I seeing this? Why was I experiencing this? Questions like that sprang inside my head…
"Watch this" The voice spoke again, and my body, which was now humongous even in celestial terms, started to become smaller. I started to feel a foreign feeling course through my body, but at the same time, the feeling was somewhat familiar. The Hydra continued to watch intensely as I continued to grow smaller and soon, I was as small as the sun in its hands.
Now that I am here, I realized that size is also relative… After all, from the perspective of a human, suns are gigantic celestial bodies, but these beings were several times bigger than a sun…
"Can you do it now?" The voice asked in a gentle tone and my vision started to blur… Moments later, I found myself back in my body. I opened my eyes only to find Rikiya still approaching me… Was I dreaming? Not much time seems to have passed since I started dreaming… Fuck! I cursed inside my mind as I tried to get up…
Was that really a dream? Now that I think about it, it was way too realistic to be a simple dream… I still remembered the sensations I felt as the being grew bigger and smaller afterwards… Can I repeat that? I remembered the foreign yet familiar flow of energy when the being was becoming smaller, so I simply decided to channel my energy in the same manner…
~~POV Narrator~~
Rikiya stared at the fallen figure of Reo in distaste… Their fight escalated a lot more than he was hoping to, and now the top floor of the hotel they were using to host the party was in ruins… People were already out in the streets, watching their fight from a safe distance while cheering him.
Now, the situation was so tense that he couldn't let the boy and his parents go without any punishment… Initially, he only planned to slap him around a bit and force him to join the MLA, but the kid turned out to be more resilient than he was expecting, and that wasn't all. The boy could heal…
Rikiya had severely injured him multiple times, but the boy would simply heal… He was afraid that he might have killed the boy when he snapped his neck, but his worries were for nought and the boy healed all the same… Rikiya was hoping for the fight to be finally over, but the boy started to stand up.
'Can I even beat him?' Rikiya asked himself when he saw the boy stand up on his feet regardless of the injuries. His hands were currently useless, but they were healing at a rapid rate. Right now, Rikiya was at 60% of his power outfit, but even if he used 100% of his power, it was impossible to know if the boy would still stay down.
No matter how many times he put him down, he would still get up… The Quirk was a nightmare to deal with… Rikiya could have asked the other Commanders to join him, but Rikiya refused to do so… He wasn't willing to gang up on a 7 year old and if he couldn't defeat the boy on his own, there was no way that he would be able to achieve his dream of a liberated world.
"Still not willing to give up?" Rikiya asked, but then all of a sudden, the form of Reo started to become smaller and Rikiya practically rejoiced in his mind. 'So, he is finally giving up' Rikiya barely stopped himself from smiling, but the form of Reo stopped becoming smaller when he was as big as Rikiya. However, Rikiya immediately sensed danger from the figure in front of him.
His instincts started to scream at him to increase his output, but before he could blink, he found a fist buried in his gut… He spat some blood and he was blasted into a nearby building… "It's round 2, you fucker!" Reo snarled and jumped into the building following through the hole Rikiya made…
