Chapter 2: The Human Limit

"How did you find me, Seigi? I definitely checked to make sure you weren't paying attention, but you found me anyway!" Issei complained as he was dragged out from the from the Storage Room.

Mitsunaga Seigi merely snorted as he forced the pervert to walk towards his demise. With his enhanced senses, it was easy to track Issei through the school, but it wasn't like Seigi was going to explain that to Issei.

They kept on walking, with Issei beginning to sweat, as if sensing his impending doom. As if on cue, a gorgeous woman with long black hair and heterochromatic eyes approached them as Seigi came to a stop.

Tsubaki Shinra was the Vice President of the Student Council, which made her his second boss in regard to hierarchy. She was also a person he held in high regard, so Mitsunaga had to use his unbreakable willpower in order to not ogle at her marvelous body.

Issei had clearly not gotten the message, as he was drooling while staring at her despite the fear that was etched onto his face. His fantasy was interrupted by Tsubaki, who grabbed him viciously by the ears.

Seigi merely sighed as he watched Issei getting scolded into oblivion by the Vice President, shaking his head at the act. Honestly, if this had been a school in his previous life, then Issei would have been lucky to escape with an expulsion, if not facing charges from the many women who had their privacy violated by the pervert.

However, this school was secretly being run by two scions of Demonic families, one of whom had vested interest in keeping Issei in the school. That person being Rias Gremory, the leader of the Occult Research Club. The other was Sona Shitori, the Student Council President, and his current boss.

After giving Issei a strict verbal lashing, Tsubaki left the degenerate to stew in his own misery. She then walked towards Seigi, who had been watching them from a distance.

"Wait, Mitsunaga, the president said that were not having a meeting today, as the other members had important business to do. I'm sorry for the late notice, but it really was sudden." Tsubaki said as she apologized with a sad expression on her face.

"It's okay, I understand that problems tend to crop up when we least expect it. Just remember to tell me when we're holding the next meeting." Seigi replied nonchalantly.

Of course, he knew that she was lying through her teeth, but she did look genuinely sorry, if for other reasons. He had long known that the real reason they told him there was no meeting, was because they were holding one of their own, one with only their peerage.

Hell, the only reason he had gotten a position on the Council was because Sona had identified him as a person of interest. She just wanted to keep him close because she could sense something was wrong with him. Which Seigi found admirable, considering all the effort he went through to hide his strength.

Now that his duty was over, and he no longer needed to go attend the meeting, Seigi decided to go home. It was already late, with them having to catch Issei after the deviant chose to stay after school to peak on the Volleyball Club.

Seigi walked with a fast pace as he headed towards his house. Although he could have arrived there in an instant if he truly wanted to, he chose not to because it would have triggered alarms for the various supernatural forces in town, especially the ones that were monitoring his home. Not that he really cared but Seigi liked having his peace and quiet and would prefer if it remained in the future.

Of course, the real reason he walked was so he could lure in the Stray Devil that was currently following him. That played a large part in his decision, as he couldn't let the Stray Devil walk away unscathed.

So, he continued to walk normally, as the Stray came closer and closer. Minutes later, the Devil had finally arrived. A bare chested, muscular man stepped out of the shadows, his body dwarfing Seigi in height.

"It seems that I am going to eat good today. Whatever your power is, it's going to taste good when you end up in my stomach." The Muscled Devil cackled as it looked down at the supposedly helpless boy in front of him.

Seigi merely rolled his eyes as he heard its words. It was almost like every Stray Devil just talked about eating people. Don't they have any other reason to break away from their masters?

"I'm too tired to deal with this, so I'll just kill you immediately." Seigi spat out with a look of disinterest.

"Haha! You kill me, with your puny body?" the Devil laughed. However, in the next moment, his line of sight was suddenly reversed. Everything became upside down, and the Devil had no clue what had happened.

The Stray would never solve that question, because he was dead after that. That was because Seigi had broken his neck the second he had finished his sentence. He just did it so fast that the Devil had no time to react.

"Time to get rid of the body, before Rias or Sona discover it later."

A serious expression appeared on his face, as Seigi's hands started to glow with a brilliant light. Forming a fist, he threw a punch right at the corpse of the Stray. The white light swallowed up the body completely, only leaving ashes in its wake. Another swift punch later, and all the traced were gone.

Holy Power was amazing at disposing of Demonic bodies and made removing evidence very convenient. It was a pain to control constantly though, as Seigi always had to restrain it in front of the Devils, so he didn't accidently hurt them.

With that done, Seigi continued his walk home, without anyone discovering his actions. His mind was filled with more serious thoughts then that of Stray Devils, ones that forced him to think very actively.

Should he make his own food or order takeout? Truly one of life's hardest questions.
