Nihal drove into the mansion and parked the car.

He stepped down and opened the door.

Valerio got out and helped Edric down.

With Nihal's aid, they walked him into the mansion and had him sit on the couch in the living room.

They patiently waited, and it took a few more minutes before the door of the mansion was pushed open.

Nix, who they had been waiting for, walked inside with a really weary expression on his face and a bag hanging by his side.

"Oh, god, you came." A relief breath fled Valerio's nose, but Nix, who was not at all pleased, strolled past him towards the living room.

He looked down at Edric, whose face looked really pale and pinched between his brows.

"What happened to him?" He asked.

"He got tortured." Valerio replied.

"By who?" In curiosity, Nix turned around to look at him.
