Chapter 9: The Complicated Reunion
We waited there for about an hour before hearing the base door opening.
"UHG, I HATE THE SOUND OF THIS GATE!" Kang.
"Yup me too, look the cars are coming in..." Daehyoon.
The two cars and the truck parked in front of us. Just then a green-haired woman wearing a black t-shirt and blue slim jeans walked to the back of the truck and opened its backdoor.
"Is that the leader?" Daehyoon.
"Yeah, she is the human with the most power in here. I heard that she is the most essential member in making this base." Kang.
"She must be an attack category!" Kyong.
"Ah..." Daehyoon.
...
"Everyone comes down, it's safe here" The leader.
A bunch of women started emerging from the back of the truck...
"What!!! Searoom!?" Daehyoon.
I rushed to her, she is Searoom no doubt. She is skinny and consumed but am sure she is Searoom...
"IS THERE SOMEONE YOU KNOW THERE KID!!??" Kang.
While exiting the back of our truck i turned to Kang... Tears... Stuttering...
"Sh... She... She is... !!" Daehyoon.
I slipped and fell to the ground, i am very confused... Crimson hair, round eyes, and that child she is holding hands with... Blue hair skinny and round eyes...
I rushed to her...
"SEAROOM...!" Daehyoon.
She spotted me, she recognized me...
I hugged her...
"SEAROOM...!!" Daehyoon.
"daehyoon... DAEHYOON!!" Searoom.
I hugged her so tight, what am i doing? Why she matters to me, i never thought that it matters until now. I am not Daehyoon, why am i crying then?
A guard tried to separate us and pulled me by my shoulder.
"Back off now" the guard.
I pushed his hand with my elbow, i don't want to let go of her... What's happening to me?
"Daehyoon... we... we... m-minho... Minho left me... and..." Searoom.
Uh, what the hell is happening...?
"DON'T WORRY, YOU ARE SAFE NOW" daehyoon.
I am so relieved to see her alive.
She suddenly stopped hugging me and backed off one step...
"Daehyoon, i want to tell you something... This is Seayong your son..." Searoom.
The guard that i hit his hand earlier held me from my chest and started dragging me towards the prisoner's truck...
"STOP... Searoom, i know... I SAID STOP..." Daehyoon.
"STOP." The leader.
The guard stopped dragging me, and let go of me. I rushed towards her again hugging both Seayong and her...
"Don't worry i am here now, i will take care of Seayong... It must've been hard for you!" Daehyoon.
My Searoom cracked into tears, and my little boy too, he hugged his mom and started crying out loud... I don't know why i am happy, but i didn't feel this relief in a while.
"On your knees daehyoon." The leader.
What?? What do you want from me?
The green-haired woman was pointing a pistol at my head...
"I said on your knees you scum" The leader.
Her face... That's fury...
I backed off from Searoom and Seayong and let my knees hit the ground.
"What's the problem?" Daehyoon.
"..."
Why the leader is acting like that, and in front of a child... What's the problem with this base? I was satisfied when i was alone and had nobody, but now it's different...
"WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM, CAN'T YOU SEE THERE IS S CHILD HERE!!" Daehyoon.
I was furious too, this woman is pointing a gun at me for being happy to meet my family...
"YOU REALLY AN A**HOLE, YOU REALLY TRYING TO ACT LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW ME..." The leader.
"WHO ARE YOU??" Daehyoon.
I took a look at Searoom, she was hugging my son and covering his face...
"MOM-mom was so caring about you, she died because of..."
The leader's self-esteem crumbled to the ground and she cracked into tears...
"she was too worried about you.. the shock of her son getting executed was too much..."
"She couldn't handle it, YOU KILLED OUR MOM, And now..." The leader.
She returned to her old calm face.
"Now i am going to kill you..." My sister??.
Is the leader of this base my sister??
And i am going to die by her!
I need to stop thinking about myself anymore, i must protect Searoom and my son.
"If you have something against me, i am okay with me being the only one who dies..." Daehyoon.
I still don't believe what's happening, i just met Searoom and my 4-year-old son. And the leader of the base is my sister...
"Please let these two live here.." Daehyoon.
"SHUT UP!" My sister apparently.
"A scum like you must not live, you were the real virus, doing drugs, human trafficking, and a killer" my sister.
Ah, Daehyoon, i stopped hating him for a while now. I think this is what i get for transmigrating to his body...
"If this is any consolation to you, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart, please just let these two live here without trouble." Daehyoon.

"STOP! Please Daehyoon wasn't like that" Saeroom.
What?? Searoom just jumped in front of me, i am happy about that but also anxious.
"Move Searoom, this has nothing to do with you" Daehyoon.
As much as i appreciate the action, you need to move... My sister's face was full of hate.
"No, i won't" Searoom.
"You can both die together" the leader.
"STOP NO!" Kang.
*GUNSHOT*
Searoom fell onto her knees. No.. no, no,no, no...
"SEAROOM!" Daehyoon.
Searoom turned her face to me terrified. Just then i saw a body in front of her!
"KANG NO!" Daehyoon.
I rushed to Kang.
"Hyong-nim No, please don't die! please! please!" Daehyoon.
Why everyone is an idiot that wants to get shot instead of me?
"Kang hyong-nim.. stay with me" Daehyoon.
I raised Kang and put his head onto my lap... I felt the hot nozzle of the gun touching my head top. My sister was standing beyond me...
"Leader... You will be an idiot if you shoot" Kang.
*CAUGH*
"the only person that is left from your family" Kang.
*CAUGH*
"He looks like a nice guy, i doubt he did the stuff.." Kang.
*CAUGH*
"You just said... It would be sad if you discovered he... was innocent" Kang.
Kang's head felt heavier... Kang no, Kang...
"Kang hyong-nim wake up, Kang hyong-nim, KANG HYONG-NIM!!!" Daehyoon.
I raised my head to find my son and his mother soaked in tears, I also couldn't bear it, this feeling is the worst, it was even worse than being half a zombie.
I put my dear friend on the ground, stood up, and faced my sister, whom I knew nothing about.
I was furious more than ever, why did i care so much... I kept telling myself he is not a friend, why i am this angry?
