Write a reviewSo, I've read the first 8 or so chapters. And I have to say one thing, excellent work. I can feel it, I can smell it, I can see it. My only nitpick is that you sometimes use words that have to be searched in a dictionary, other than that, congratulations, I know how hard it is to keep this type of writing up.
This is going to be the first book am reading on webnovel and I love it, I think the author is doing a great job here
Writing quality is worse than mtl novels.. I just read 2 chapters and dropped.. I'll continue if and when this has been rewritten.
After reading the starting chapters I can say The Poison Deity is a captivating novel that immerses readers in a world of mystery and cultivation. The story follows Zhong Peng on a dangerous journey filled with unexpected revelations. With vivid descriptions, a well-paced narrative, and the introduction of an ancient book and cultivation system, it adds depth and intrigue to the plot. The compelling characters and enticing storyline promise an exciting and immersive reading experience. I can't wait to continue reading The Poison Deity and discover more about its captivating world and intriguing mysteries.
Interesting story thus far. I would appreciate if the author can improve some grammar and small things, like having names capitalized when used. Other than that, the novel has good potential. Good luck!
It is a cultivation story with intricate plot and intriguing story. You won't waste your time reading this because it's immediately grip you at the start. Please, keep up the good work, Author!
from reading this story I can tell how much you put into this novel and the more I read the more I want more please continue writing
The author has clearly put a lot of thought into this story. I appreciate the attention to world building, mystery, and suspense. I don't normally read cultivation stories, but overall the writing leaves me wanting to know more about this world. I hope the author continues to update this story.
This review is based on the first three chapters as I believe these three are the "make or break" of any story. WRITING QUALITY: The grammar is okay. It was easy to understand but there were some random "deep words" here and there. The paragraph were also kinda long to my liking. I have the attention span of a goldfish that's why. PS. Your dialogue could be better. STABILITY OF UPDATES: Quite consistent, I guess. I checked the table of contents and found out the author started uploading six months ago. Sixty chapters in and three days continuous writing. STORY DEVELOPMENT: [spoilers] A lot have happened during the first three chaps. Some burly dude tryna bully him, he found a peculiar box, picked it up, it turned into a book after it drank some of his blood, then viola, transmigration. The pace was alright in my opinion. CHARACTER DESIGN: Could definitely do some work to be honest. WORLD BACKGROUND: Not much was told.
The concept is overall nice, but there are problems with typos and grammars here and there, the writer is extremely hardworking, because the writing style is very very very great. You travel inside the novel with just few lines, enough to get hooked.
The story itself has the potential to be great! The only problem with it is the inconsistent updates and the writing quality.[img=recommend]
So far I've read the first 6 chapters and my review will be based on that. The author first of all is decently skilled - the writing is very clear with little to no grammatical errors and the transitions are super well done!! The story itself has captivated me by this point as my questions begin to mount and I crave answers! I'm totally here for Zhong Peng's journey :) Keep up the good work!
Alright, this is just mind blowing, to be honest, at first when I saw it was a cultivation novel, I was like having doubts about how it would turn out to be... But men, I can believe I would actually love something like this, I mean, c'mon this book is literally amazing, I love the fact that the chapters are many, it would make it a lot easier to dive deeper into the story... I really do can't wait to binge reading this... I love the suspense and the characters are really simply relatable .. overall, this book is simply awesome ππ
I'm not into cultivations novels because sometimes they overcomplicated stuff, but this was it was easy to read and with a really good plot. Some typos here and there, but it did not hinder the writing quality. Good job, author!!! Keep up the work πππ
The plot is intriguing. I'd like to read more when I have time. The weakest point so far is the MC, but it was just the beginning and his character has not yet developed. Keep up the good work, Author!
I've been reading this for a while now and I'd say it's a 10/10 for me. keep up the good work. author; this is a good story.
Good novel and with good writing I Have read a few chapters of the novel and can already tell it is great and overall love it .
read the first few chapters and I can say its a pretty interesting book that i'll be adding to my reading list for later on. Personally, I read a lot and so prefer books with longer chapters so i would have more to read but short chapters are also good when done right
There is a good plot, good characters, and a mystery that has me keep going. The dialogue and the writing quality are also perfect. Overall love it.
I'm loving this novel! I've already blitzed through 10 chapters. The story starts strong and keeps you guessing. There are loads of unanswered questions, but that's part of the mysterious vibe, you know? Chapter 3 was like a cultivation cheat code or something, but hey, no biggie. Grammar took a nosedive from chapters 6 to 10. Not sure if it gets better later. It's not the worst, but there are spelling issues, missing punctuation (commas, periods, capital letters), and repeated words. Still readable, though. Will finish the book for sure. Hoping the author cleans up those chapters. I'll come back and edit this review, promise. I kinda wanted more details on how the MC resolved conflicts before jetting off on their world tour, but whatever. And seriously, more world-building would be cool. This is just my first take on the book. If it gets better, I'll update. Just wanted to give the author some feedback 'cause I'm really into the story. Oh, and by the way, there's a system in the mix. Definitely worth a read, especially if you dig cultivation, systems, and a weak-to-strong MC.
I like the book. The author creates a sense of suspense and mystery that keeps you wanting more. Good job π
This was super fun! The characters are definitely thought-out deeply and the action is also nicely written. I haven't read many chapters but I like what I read so far
Definitely a perfect 5/5! Have read a few chapters of the novel and can already tell it is great. I mean, who doesn't love a good cultivation novel? The syntax and grammar is well thought and the words falls right into place almost naturally. Not only that but I love how steady the pace is and has a well explained world background. There are some grammatical error in regard with the capitalizing and a few punctuations but other than that, can't really complain. Author-sama is doing greatπ
Every sentence is meticulously crafted, painting vivid images and evoking a range of emotions. The prose is both lyrical and accessible, drawing readers in and holding them captive until the very last page.
Read the first few chaps and I really enjoy it so far. My fave is the world building. The tabbed first lines was a bit disorienting tho
The direction of the plot is nice, and the pacing of each chapter is nice too. I guess my only problem are the spelling and punctuation marks, but other than that, great job :D
What a good start. I've only read a few chapters but how the novel introduces the character is great and really characterizes him. Although the massive explanation in chapter 3 broke my immersion, it was rather interesting. I would work on your punctuation and fix a few grammatical errors but overall solid, and I can't wait to read more.
A good story author. keep it up . the plot direction is going great. and the mystery of what's coming next or what he'll do now is great. the characters r likeable and relatable. it's a great read and I've enjoyed it - there aren't some silly plot holes Or grammar mistakes so keep it that way. I'd say focus a little more on the world around mc too. it's grandness and culture. other than that good job
From the chapters I have read the story is very interesting and I enjoyed reading it. The world was described well and the writing was good I found no problems with this story and would recommend it to anyone
