Chapter 93: Saved At The Last Moment

Aiden looked up to see the face of the vampire that gathered him into his arms.

It was Ryan.

Aiden burst into tears.

It's him. He got to meet him again before he died.

It was such a blessing. God was so kind to him.

Aiden grabbed Ryan's suit and opened his mouth to say something.

He wanted to tell the vampire that he regretted asking for more time the previous night. And that he liked him no matter how different their worlds were.

"Ryan, I..."

Before he managed to speak further, energy left his body like water draining off a water tub after the plug was pulled out.

Aiden passed out and crumbled in Ryan's embrace.

The vampire silently lifted him up and shot a glare at the surrounding vampires.

"Prince," one female vampire greeted him, pressing her right arm diagonally across her chest. "We are sorry. We didn't know."

Ryan pressed a chaste kiss against the top of Aiden's head.

"This is my person," he said to the crowd. "Those who dare to lay a hand on him will die."
