Chapter 173: The stubborn duo

That day Christina found out the reason for Luke's change of attitude toward her was because of her family's Zeus Company taking over the Du family Trident Company. 

It may look like a simple take over by Zeus Company in Christina's understanding. Little did she know that decision impacted other people's lives, and there was more behind the scene than what she knew. 

Christina's job for the Zeus Company was simply evaluating the pros and cons of the takeover. She didn't know the social impact of the takeover, and the other information related to it. 

She didn't know that Tony Du had sought after her father to help him escape punishment. She didn't even understand how that even works. 

Suddenly, thinking about all of it, an anger rose within her. 

Why Luke blamed her family for his father's death. Just because her family took over the sinking Trident Company? That didn't make any sense.
