Chapter 145: Unbreakable Detective He

Trent headed for his office after leaving the library with a fake calmness. His usual kind smile was displayed on his face, and he replied to others' greetings when they passed by him on his way to his office. However, inside, he was burning in anger as his intention to seek Jasmine today didn't bore the result that he wanted. 

As soon as he entered his office and closed the door, he burst in anger. 

Officer Kim, who was doing paperwork that was supposed to be Trent's job, stopped what he was doing and looked at Trent, who was pacing back and forth in the middle of the room clenching and unclenching his fist. 

Trent wanted to destroy something, but he held back as the sound of breaking things would attract the other officers' attention. 

Officer Kim let Trent for a while until Trent's anger receded to its safe zone, before he could ask what was wrong this time and what made Trent furious.
