Chapter 42: Eating lunch together

Felix took the packed food from the delivery boy and thanked him. He walked inside the building and headed for his office.

Looking at the packed foods in his hand, there was a smile threatening to form on his lips, but Felix tried his best to keep a straight face.

Several correctional officers stopped and saluted Felix when they walked past him, and he responded with a nod of his own.

A while ago, Jasmine praised his looks, and his heart was filled with happiness. Initially, he was feeling bitter when Jasmine said Xander Wu was handsome. However, when Jasmine said he was handsome too, he instantly felt happiness seeping under his skin. Call him vain or whatever, it was not that he cared about looks; he was just ecstatic that it was Jasmine who said it.

He had no idea why he cared about that, though.
