Back at the warehouse, a low, ominous hum began to resonate from the array beneath the chest. Londar's eyes widened in realization. He thought he could deactivate it on time or perhaps keep it stable for a couple of minutes, but the moment they managed to separate the chest and the heart, something in the array changed.
He realized quickly that he could only keep it stable for a couple of seconds, which was enough for the others to leave the warehouse.
Just as the others left, the room erupted in a blinding flash of light as the array triggered its final defense mechanism. The explosion sent shockwaves through the building, shattering windows, destroying the walls, and collapsing parts of the roof. Dust and debris filled the air, obscuring visibility.
"I don't think your guy is fine, that blast was more than enough to heavily injure a Grand Knight, even with the arrays in place, it was able to do so much damage," Elara stated with a slightly worried expression.
