Chapter 522: The Battle at the Headquarters

There was nothing but silence present in the hall.

The body was split cleanly in half, and one of the top combatants of the Ona clan had met his demise. Some of the people present gritted their teeth and clenched their swords, daggers, spears, or whatever other weapons they had, while others felt something they had not felt for a while.

As they saw their comrade's sudden demise, the overwhelming power that Nicholas had displayed, and the sheer calmness he had, as well as the immense pressure coming from every single person present around the two, fear and panic began to set in. 

They knew they were facing opponents far beyond their abilities, they had known that before as well, they had known that there was a chance of something like this occurring if they attacked and tried to kill Nicholas and Lyle.

But even then, they were still petrified.

The enemy was too strong, and they had no chance of surviving this.
