Chapter 166: The Smell of Cedar

"Just why have you done so much for me, even if I have enough talent to become a Shadow, is it really that important for you?" Lyle softly muttered before suddenly putting his hand in the inner pocket of his jacket. Taking it out, he looks at the small brown badge that was given to him after he had successfully passed his training and joined the organization.

The badge was activated, out of the 10 symbols on it, one was shining.

'A call, I should have expected it, the moment I think of you, you call me, master.' Lyle thought as he poured his mana into the badge in order to let the other side know he has received the call and will be coming.

The person that was calling him was, of course, his backer, and the master that had taught him most of the things he knew, Nicholas.
