Chapter 99: The Cure

Safira got up to her feet and moved towards the door. Seth stood in her way.

"Where are you going?" Then it dawned on him, "You can't be serious. They won't tell you anything."

Safira brushed him off, "I'm going and you're coming with me."

She didn't wait for Seth to reply, knowing he would likely refuse. Instead, she grabbed him by the arm and dragged him along with her. She forced him to take her to the meeting spot.

Safira was a little nervous stepping out of the packgrounds again. Although her father, Alpha Vincent, had offered her a place in his pack, she politely refused the offer. She always knew that in time, she would become part of Damien's pack, whether the pack wolves welcomed her or not.

So, she kept her nomad wolf status.

As they carefully moved under the cover of night, Safira was quick to notice how quiet it was. When they finally came close to the clearing where the meeting was held, Safira was surprised to see far fewer than she had expected.
