Chapter 98: Hidden Truths

Perhaps it was partially due to the fatigue from traveling, but Safira didn't have the patience to hear Seth's excuses anymore. She'd been trying to reach out to Damien via mind-link too but it was completely useless.

She needed to know if he was alright. Or perhaps, he blocked her out on purpose?

Safira pushed past Seth and the Alpha Squad wolves to enter the cabin.

"Hey! You-"

She pushed away the other wolves and entered the cabin. She looked all over, quick to notice the stale air in the cabin. The windows hadn't been open in a while and no lights had been turned on.

Before Seth or the other wolves could drag her out of there, she quickly made her way down the corridor. She headed straight for the master bedroom. This was the place she had spent some of her most memorable times with Damien.

In its current state, she barely recognized it.
