Chapter 37: LOWKEY SCARED

"What do you want to talk about? I am a little busy."

"Do you have to report back to that man who just sits on the throne like a damn King?" Lucifer asked as he blocked the way.

"Why do you always show up on auspicious occasions even after knowing that will do no good to anyone?" The man in a white cloak asked as he kept the book on the table.

"I might forgive mere humans for mistaking me but if you dare to say a word on this, I might cut your throat." 

"S-stop using your power against me. I am the priest here." He managed to answer back.

"Who is backing you suddenly? I see so much courage coming from a damn person like you recently. Last year, you were polishing my shoes and wiping the sweat off my back... Do you remember?" The man asked, as his eyes changed color.
