The stallion; zerus was her fathers and his most priced and valuable possession. He had won the horse from one of his gambling stakes and till date he still praised himself for the victory. Zerus was a stunning and incredibly fast horse, it would have cost a fortune if her father had bought it himself but luckily for him he had won it.

He had refused to sell it even knowing the worth and claiming he was his treasure, but he had no problem selling his daughters to the highest bidder to save him from his debt.

Madison looked at the black beauty which nudged it muzzle on Robert hands, her father valued the animal more than both her and her sister and in as much as she tried to hate the horse for it, she couldn’t bring herself to do such.
