And the circle once again erupted with laughter of his clumsiness, some of the women around the group kept on giving Madison jealous glances, the thought that such a man who wouldn’t even look at them was so besotted for her.

Madison told a different story to each circle of friends insinuating that he was a crazy little fool, and by the end of the night his long built reputation of the cool and collected charmer who always had women at his feet was completely destroyed by charade.

He couldn’t contain his anger as he said his farewell while dragging her towards the carriage and when he finally reached the carriage he barked at her “get in”, but she only looked up at him acting all innocent which seemed to get him more annoyed. He held her by the arm intending to shove her into the carriage but she jerked her arm away
