Chapter 103: Temporary Curtain Call

After their extreme showings of affection for each other, Spade and Arren had become so close that no one was letting go of each other. Even when Spade was instructing and ordering his subordinates to handle the aftermath, his arms were still around Arren. 

While Arren was also clinging tightly to the alpha, he didn't let go even when his father was already talking to the alpha and they discussed something.

No one commented on this behavior of theirs, and no one even dared to notice it. As for the Duke, he also understood that the two of them, after what happened, needed time for each other. 

Spade also solemnly bowed that he would pursue those that escape and the individuals that were still hiding in the capital, and even the entire empire. It wasn't only for Arren, but for those fallen royal guards who did their duty.
