Chapter 364: Breaking the code of formalities

Maverick ignored that statement and stood in front of his wife. He looked at her from head to toe before asking, "Are you hurt anywhere?"

Jeslyn smiled and shook her head, "I'm fine."

He kissed his wife's forehead before stretching his hand towards the direction of the door. In seconds, Code 2 walked in and handed Maverick a gun.

With everyone still wondering what was about to happen, Maverick pointed the gun at Catherine. Without a single word said, bang! A bullet flew out of the gun and lurched straight into Catherine's heart.

Davis was still in shock. Before he could gather himself, bang! Another bullet left Maverick's gun and hit Davis on his shoulder, causing his gun to fall from his hand.

Screams from the staff and customers filled the air as Davis' men rushed down from upstairs while Maverick's men rushed in from the entrance.

The place became messy as both sides held each other at gunpoint.
