Chapter 34: Punishment

The girl's eyes stay glued to the eyes before her which were that of Luke's. "I'm sorry," she never wastes time uttering those words.

"This isn't the first time you are saying sorry," he walked away from the door and into the room. Isabella had to go in with him.

Mia who was still in the living room began to fear what she had done. Why doesn't she think before doing something or saying something and now...what if her sister loses her job? Where will they stay? Will they have to go back to their house where it was just so uncomfortable?

Regretting her action made her recall Gabe. The same thing she did with Gabe and now he wasn't talking to her or texting her as he does.

Mia ran to her room to get dressed, she needed to talk to her sister, Hannah. Hannah would understand and ease her heavy heart.

Isabella stood somewhere behind Luke waiting for him to say something more or perhaps scold her monstrously.
