Chapter 103: Private room

"Oh, right!" one of the thieves looked at Draven, eager. "Which family do you belong to? Seeing your breathing technique seemingly complements your fighting style with a weapon. You should be a descendant of the Saru family, right?"

Draven was stunned but suddenly realized it would be better to let the misunderstanding revolve in their minds. They never knew him to begin with, as he didn't even have relatives or other people who knew him completely well. After all, he had nothing to start with—not even actual friends; his long-gone parents; and even Selena had left him to deal with her personal matters.

Aside from the blue flame and little Skelly, there would be no one to betray and expose his secrets. Therefore, a lie could spread like wildfire, but there was no one to validate it lest they investigate their background. However, who would have the time to do so?
