Sarah ran into Esmeralda's chamber and uttered, "Your Highness, right now, I am being spied on by a scullery maid."

Esmeralda was at the verge of changing into another ball gown when she heard her maid's call. She rolled her eyes and then turned around to face her. "Sarah, what now? I am not in for a long gist and I possibly might not be interested in it, so tell me if there is anything suspicious you have noticed."

"Is...is it that bad?" Esmeralda broke her words but then she straightened her shoulders, "Why should I believe you? You are actually good at exaggerating things. Just go straight to the point," she paused. "Before you proceed, did you put the shard in her shoe?"
