Chapter 30: Out Of The Dungeon

Hazel on the other hand was stilled. Her mind roamed all about as she wondered what kind of shameful act she had involved herself in.

What was all that that happened just now?

The fact that she had leaned into him and given him her consent made her feel overly worthless. Why had she done that? Most especially, what could have come unto her that she for the first time satisfied her carnal desires?

Trying to forget what took place just now, even though it was hard and she could still feel his warm breath over her face, she slowly looked down at the flower that was on the floor before looking back at the dark part of the dungeon he had walked into.

"I pray the wolfsbane worked..." She whispered slowly, recalling the sudden anger that had wiled up on his face when he saw the wolfsbane with her. He had angrily pushed the wolfsbane off her fingers and then, she had guessed that his untimely reaction was just proof that the wolfsbane truly had a strong effect on him.
