Chapter 579: Blame game

"Do you want me to thank you for the trouble that you have caused me?" He Zexi was stupefied by the words that came out of Situ Xun's mouth. She closed her eyes and then exhaled heavily before saying, "Let's hear it, why did you do it?" 

Situ Xun raised one of his brows as he crossed his legs before leaning on the chair. He responded, "I have to save the beta who was wrongfully accused. I did relay it to the guard that the beta woman he had imprisoned was innocent. He did not listen to me, so I just had to take matters into my own hands."

A frown appeared on the face of the woman. It was because she knew that the heirs would never save a person without a reason. Realising there was more to the story, He Zexi narrowed her eyes and questioned, "I have to say that I am surprised. I have always heard about how you have killed someone again from your mouth, Master Xun. This is the first time I have heard that you saved someone." 

"So who is this unfortunate soul?"
