Chapter 563: A race to snatch credit

The guard pursed his lips, he did not want to tell Gu Mu what happened but he was also worried that Lord Ren would do something to the woman who was caught. 

So, he stammered and stuttered before relaying everything to Head Guard, Gu Mu. 

"Stupid Idiot!" Gu Mu slapped the man on the face, as he was angry he did not hold back his strength causing blood to spurt out of the mouth of the guard who fell on the ground. 

The guard wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand and looked at Gu Mu who was glaring at him furiously. 

"Did you leave the only and very important clue of this case with that perverted bastard?" Gu Mu was so frustrated and furious that he wanted to eat the flesh of this man and drink his blood. His eyes turned red as he demanded, "Tell me!"
