Chapter 385: Second lady’s abrupt kindness

Yin Zhu picked up the vase which was full of white lilies and set them aside while keeping an eye on Second Miss Zhilan who was sitting on the couch while sipping the jasmine tea brought by Ye Zhao with a serene expression on her face.

Today, Miss Zhilan had her hair tied in a neat bun with a slight curl on the front which was pinned to the right with three pins, giving a small puff to the curled strands. With a vibrant light purple qi pao which had a slit on the side leaving a simple fabric attached on the inside which hovered in the air while fluttering gently with the wind which was coming from the open windows of the balcony. 

" I heard that you went on a picnic, Elder sister?" Situ Zhilan asked after she set the teacup on the saucer and then raised her head to look at Elder Miss Yaoyue with a smile on her face.
