Chapter 221: 221 – The Great Marches

Early summer. The preparations for the war against the kingdom of Durcia have been completed. We have got their path of travel. So, I decided today is our departure.

I kissed Ayre, Xenora, and Phisovia's lips in turn.

"Take care of this place while I'm not around," I said to them with a smile.

Ayre returned a smile. "We will do this task as best we can."

"I want to stay by your side, my lord." Phisovia looked at me with teary eyes. "However, I realized that this task is essential to us."

Xenora just caressed my face gently.

I widened my smile, nodded to Luke and the judges, then walked over to my other subordinates.

"I can't wait to use this, my lord!" Emily sat on the shoulders of a 200 foot tall humanoid figure. That thing was made from thousands of lizardmen bones fused together and wrapped in armor. "It's amazing they can make something like this in such a short amount of time!"

I replied to her. "I'm also looking forward to what this thing can do."
