[ POV Change ]
What is the universe?
Maybe it is an unimaginably harsh and colossal space of death..... impossible to survive in with just the naked body, save a few seconds.
Maybe we are all just wandering...
within the confines of death.
Sadness is felt when we wonder why we live in ..... this state.
What is the meaning of existence?
Where are we all headed?
What is the meaning of life?
Human
You
Me
Do we all exist just to exist?
Or
Is there some meaning to our existence?

[ The Taiga Forest - Unknown Bunker ]
The Taiga forest stretched on endlessly, a sea of tall, slender pines that seemed to go on forever. The air was crisp and fresh, the scent of pine and earth heavy in the air. The trees were tall and stately, their branches reaching up towards the sky as if in prayer. It was a peaceful, almost holy place, a place where one could find solitude and rest.
But deep in the heart of the forest, hidden from view, was a bunker. It was a structure of concrete and steel, a stark contrast to the natural beauty of the forest. The entrance was hidden behind a wall of branches and vines, almost as if the forest itself was trying to conceal it.
The door to the bunker was heavy and worn, the paint chipped and faded. It creaked open slowly, revealing a dimly lit corridor that stretched on into the darkness. The walls were lined with shelves and cabinets, filled with supplies and equipment. It was a place of shelter and safety, a place where one could ride out the storms of life.
But even in this place of refuge, there was a sense of unease. For the bunker was not just a place of protection, but also a place of secrets and shadows. It was a place where the past and the present collided, where the horrors of the world were kept locked away. And as the door closed behind you with a heavy thud, you couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay hidden within its walls.
The Basement.
A place where no one's voice can reach and not a speck of sunlight enters.
The room was shrouded in darkness, the only light coming from a single candle that flickered on the table in the corner. Despite the dimness, the woman's face was visible, contorted in agony and despair as she cried out with each contraction.
She was lying on the floor, her body writhing and trembling as she struggled to bring new life into the world. Her face was gaunt and pale, her body thin and emaciated. It was clear that she had suffered greatly, and this final challenge seemed almost too much to bear.
But despite the pain and exhaustion, the woman refused to give up. She gritted her teeth and pushed with all her might, determined to see this through to the end.
( ~ Aghhhhhh ~ )
Blood decorated the floor in red as the malnourished woman gave birth.

Amid the fear and madness, a girl was born.
The woman's hands trembled as she gazed upon her crying child.
Her hand snaked towards the baby's neck.
Each inch as they moved closer and closer, the woman told herself.
You don't have to live in this hell.
But the touch of the baby's hand against her own caused the malnourished woman to stop.
She couldn't do it.
How could a mother kill her child?
Maybe if that mother had done the deed right then and there then maybe the child wouldn't have to go through that hell.

And life was also given to this girl.
( ~ Creak ~ )
As the door opened a monster with blood-red eyes glared back at the curious eyes of a young child.
This was the young girl's life.
The pictures showed a loving family to the girl but her family was anything but loving.
How did she survive this long?
Merely because of luck or perhaps because the girl's father had a shred of humanity left or maybe it was because of the physique she had been born with?
In the Murim world, humans were always blessed by their talents to stand on equal grounds to demon beasts but there have been some cases where a human is blessed with an abnormal physique that can make them rival the powers of the demon beasts, it is believed to be a manifestation of the innate talents and potential of one's ancestry.
Some call it a curse, many call it a blessing but the bloodline physiques are one of the few things over which wars can and have broken out.
The nameless girl that had been born in this darkness was born with a rare and sought-after physique.
Her tears had long since dried up
OR
Maybe it was due to her physique that she could heal herself as her father took out her anger on her, and her pain tolerance grew.
Whatever the reason, the girl wished for death over and over again.
But she couldn't die.
Even in this world of pain and anguish, the girl's life wasn't extinguished.
While her malnourished mother tried to stop the beast from hurting her child.
The girl's inner self ceased living.
The girl stopped crying.
Since birth, that's the only way she had been treated by others.
She wasn't sad or resentful.
That was all she knew.
That was her life.
All she knew was pain inflicted upon her by the beast she called father.
Yes, that is all.
.....
Then one day, this gloomy world of hers shattered.
The sound of explosions filled the air, shaking the very walls of the bunker.
And then, in the midst of all the chaos, the door to the bunker burst open.
The beast she called her father stumbled into the room, his face contorted with fear and pain. He was covered in blood, his clothes torn and shredded. He looked at the little girl and her mother with a mixture of disgust and anger.
And then, before the mother and daughter could even react, he was thrown across the room. They watched in horror as he slammed into the wall with a sickening thud, his body crumpling to the ground.
The girl could see the fear and pain in his eyes as he looked at them one last time, and then everything went dark.
The girl sat there in shock, my mind struggling to process what had just happened.
Suddenly a group of men and women came into the bunker.
( ~ BA-DUMP ~ )
( ~ BA-DUMP ~ )
It was the first time, the girl had seen anyone else in real life other than her mother and father.
( ~ BA-DUMP ~ )
( ~ BA-DUMP ~ )
The young girl's mind was filled with thoughts and thoughts as the close encounter with the third kind occurred.
I should run.
But how?
Can I call it moving?
They are tall.
Cigarette.
Using my voice?
I don't know.
I can see their pupils.
The girl's mind was filled with overwhelming thoughts.
The men and women lined the halls as a giant of a man in the eyes of the girl strode into the bunker with a sense of purpose, his boots echoing on the concrete floor. He was a tall man, with a broad chest and shoulders that seemed to fill the room. His hair was short and graying, his face lined with the wear and tear of decades of war he had fought against the Immortal Demon Sect as the patriarch of the Divine Feather Sect.
But despite his age, the man exuded an air of confidence and strength. His eyes were piercing and sharp, seeming to take in everything around him with a single glance. His posture was upright and commanding, his bearing that of a man used to giving orders and having them followed.
As he entered the room, the other occupants couldn't help but feel his presence, especially the girl who felt like she was in front of something beyond her imagination. They stood up straighter, their eyes fixed on him as they waited to hear what he had to say. The man surveyed the room, his gaze sweeping over the men and women gathered before him as he strolled toward the malnourished woman and child in the center of the room.
The woman couldn't even breathe as a suffocating presence was in front of her while the girl was shaking in fear.
" Hey, Are you ok?" The man asked the girl.
" Uh, .... yeah, Huh?"
" Yeah? it's nice to meet you. What's your name?"
" Uh, I don't know."
" Huh, you don't know then can I call you Lin Lai, kid."
For the first time in her life, the nameless child's eyes flickered with a smudge of happiness as she heard someone call her something.
Maybe to the ears of the child, Lü Fengxian's words were more than just words.
It was a confirmation that she was someone.
" Do you want to come with me ?" Lü Fengxian asked causing Lin Lai's eyes to widen.
' What did this man mean? Do I have to answer now? What do I say ?....'
Such thoughts filled Lin Lai's head as Lü Fengxian placed his hand on Lin Lai's head.
" This place is not suited for you. Come with me and I'll give you a world where you can have whatever you want."
Lü Fengxian's words give Lin Lai hope for a loving family.
" Can my mother come ?" Lin Lai asked with Lü Fengxian slowly nodding causing Lin Lai to smile.
" Then I will come with you." Lin Lai answered before darkness engulfed her mind.
As her body fell onto the ground, Lü Fengxian sighed and looked at his subordinate.
" This girl has the Sun Flame Maidens Physique?"
" Yes, Sir!"
" Bring her to the shamans and confirm if she has it or not."
" Yes, Sir !"
One of the subordinates stepped up and asked.
" Sir, what do we do with the mother ?"
Lü Fengxian stood in the doorway of the bunker, his eyes cold and hard as he looked at the woman huddled on the floor. She was thin and emaciated, her body trembling with fear as she looked up at him. Her eyes were wide with terror as if she knew what was coming.
"I don't have any need for a mortal, kill her," the general said, his voice cold and flat.
The woman's eyes widened even further, and she began to plead and beg for mercy. But Lü Fengxian seemed unmoved, his face a mask of stone.
"Take her away," he said, turning to his subordinates. " Immediately!"
The cultivators of the Divine Feather Sect stepped forward, their faces grim as they grabbed the woman and dragged her away. She screamed and struggled, but it was no use. She was outnumbered and outmatched, and there was no escape from the cold and ruthless judgment of Lü Fengxian.
As the woman was led away to her death, Lü Fengxian watched impassively, his eyes cold and empty. And as the woman's screams faded away into the distance, the Lü Fengxian turned and walked away, as he thought.
' Have I finally found the legendary physique or not ?'
Lin Lai at such a young age thought that her hell was over but she had just walked from the prison of her mad father into an even worse fate in the Divine Feather Sect.
