Someone snorted in the corner of the room and Chase was suddenly made aware that he and Morgan weren't alone. He turned to look at Simon who was sniggering behind his hand.
The healer had the decency to give him an apologetic look as he smiled and waved at them. “Go on,” he started, motioning for them to go. “You two should go rest up, I’ve got it handled here.”
Chase hesitated; on one hand, he was thankful for the dismissal because he wanted to get Morgan to rest as soon as possible but on the other, he didn’t want to leave Simon alone.
“Alright,” Morgan agreed for them, standing and gently nudging Chase towards the door. “Thanks, Simon.”
“Of course,” Simon beamed. “Take it easy, you hear?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Morgan chuckled. “I’m sure Chase won’t let me do anything but.”
Chase felt his cheeks heat up at that but before he could say anything Simon spoke again. “Good,” Simon approved, nodding slightly as he turned his attention back to the other wolves.
