Chapter 245: Leave

"That will be all for now. You may leave." Veron dismissed Sir Rufus, who just returned from Vampire City with reports on how Jadon was handling issues over there. 

"Thank you, your Majesty." Sir Rufus gave a bow and began walking out of the hall. He, however, paused and turned to face Veron again. "There's one more thing, your Majesty."

"Go on." Veron granted him permission to speak.

"It's about the destruction that happened in the north district, your Majesty. The people are confused and there is fear in the land. I, for one, have a theory, but I don't want to depend on an assumption. A clear explanation would help allay the fears and clear the confusion of the people." Sir Rufus stated his concern, adding a suggestion.
