Chapter 89: Dinner 1

The first thing Veron noticed when Karina stepped out of the room was the dress she was wearing.

Not because it was not a designer dress, nor was it because of the way it hugged her body in all the right places. 

it was a simple navy blue dress, and she looked beautiful in it. But all these were not the reason it caught his attention. It was because he never saw it coming.

Knowing how stubborn she was, and how she was still recovering, he had expected her to be in her usual clothes.

But this was even better. He donned a small smile as he looked her over once more. 

"You are beautiful." He complimented, offering his hand for her to take.

"Thank you," Karina responded, and took his hand without hesitation.

Much as she hated to admit it, she was becoming addicted to those sensations and sparks which only happen when they hold hands.
