"This is... I don't know what to say..." Nori commented after listening to all that Karina experienced in just a little more than an hour. "If you were not the one saying it, I wouldn't have believed Mr. Joel could say that to you. What are you going to do now?" Nori queried, now sitting up and focusing her attention on Karina.

"Decline, of course. I'll return to Mr. Joel tomorrow, and plead with him to just put me on another team since I can't do what he advised." Karina shrugged, indicating how simple the solution to the problem was.

Nori, however, frowned in disagreement. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why not? Don't tell me you also want me to accept the offer." Karina donned a suspicious frown, tilting her head slightly to the side as she set her eyes on Nori.

"This is not about Veron. It's about you. It's about what Mr. Joel said, and I think I agree with him." Nori answered, making Karina's eyes stretch.
