The second night, they stopped again for rest.

Evelyn was silently staring at the sky looking at the moon which was surrounded by stars. How she wished that she had Regan by her side right now!

The guilt of leaving Ezra behind to lose his life for her was eating her alive!

She wondered if she was being selfish. If only the three knights were not serving her, then Ezra would not have gone through this.

It made her wonder if the people around her …those who got close to her were destined to suffer.

First Oliver, now Ezra. Even her prince was not faring well.

She really wanted Regan's arm around herself right now because Evelyn could feel herself falling with every passing moment.

Derrick's cold voice fell in her ears but she didn't look at him.
