This time she was the one awake looking at his sleeping face that looked innocent she wondered, she would not have believed that he was the same beast who had eaten her whole if she hadn't experience it herself.

Could someone as innocent as him do anything hurtful to others, Emily thought as still the thoughts about why he smelled bloody came into her mind.

Leon was sleeping soundly and looked tired she even noted the dark spots below his eyes and realised that he was sleep deprived.

He still had her hand on his holding it tightly as if she would leave.

Emily didn't want to disturb him and decided to sit comfortably near him her soft hand went to touch his hairs and caress him gently.

She just wished nothing but happen to their family and he would always stay by her side for the rest of their lives.
