Chapter 121: The Accidental Kiss

After taking a quick shower, Alicia came out of the restroom feeling more composed. The room was softly warmed by the morning light that filtered through the drapes. 

Wearing a robe that enveloped her in luxury like a cocoon, she took a seat on the side of the bed.

Ever watchful, Matilda had set up a tray with a plate of fresh fruit and a warm cup of tea. The area was infused with a calming atmosphere emanating from the tea cup's scent. 

Alicia couldn't help but be grateful for all of the work that went into creating a peaceful moment in the middle of the storm from the night before.

Alicia was reaching for the teacup when her fingertips unexpectedly came into contact with a tiny note concealed beneath it. Intrigued, she carefully unfolded the delicate paper, revealing elegant handwriting.
