A good distance away from the royal palace, typically situated within the palace grounds was the training field, placed strategically for easy access to the royal quarters, surrounded by high walls and hedges ensuring privacy and security. The layout of the field with its impressive, well-organized, and meticulous design, giving out its royalness.

Sun shining brightly over the fields featured a variety of terrains that stimulate real-world conditions, including both open spaces for group drills and obstacle courses for agility and endurance training. The natural elements like trees, rocks, and small hills were incorporated to create a challenging environment for the trainers who had already begun their morning march around the big field. At one end of the field, raised platforms for the royal family and high-ranking officials to observe training exercises were built.
