Chapter 106: GUILTY AS CHARGED

Belle focused on her work because she didn't want to think of unnecessary things about Eli. She didn't want to give Ceres another chance to tease. On the other hand, Eli was also doing his best to think of something else. He didn't want to keep thinking of the possibility that Belle liked that Jackson guy. 

In silence, they did the things that they wanted to do without bothering each other. 

One hour later, Belle pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes. She felt tired. In the past two weeks, she had been doing her online job to earn extra money for herself and Neon. She needed to earn a lot for both of them. 

"Eli," 

"Hn?" he answered with his eyes on his laptop. 

"I'll take a short nap here. Can you wake me up after an hour?" 

"Sure. Go ahead."
