Chapter 602: A Break, They Thought

They honeymooned in Carbana.

Situated even further south than Hydrogia, there were beaches made of white sand where the weather was always warm. Carbana bordered the southern country and was a common vacation spot for nobles. 

Considering the fertile land surrounding it, boasting acres of tropical fruits that most had never seen in their life and limitless ocean views, it was no surprise that it was where Henry decided to take his wife. The first year of their marriage was so tumultuous he wanted to escape and forget about life for at least a couple of weeks. 

However, knowing that they were two restless knights at their very core, they both brought swords along with practice swords and shields just in case the urge struck them. 

The reason for needing to be away from home for an extended period was quite obvious. The duke's tower was undergoing renovations that would take over a month to complete.
