Chapter 238: Experience Leads To Epiphany

Even though the sun was setting, it still felt hot being that close to such a large pit of lava.

They both started going down the path they had taken around the volcano so they could go back to the ground they knew wasn't on the verge of cracking at any moment. 

Except Henry heard the rocks above them shift and he saw the dragon sneakily traveling along and following them at a distance. Its actions felt very juvenile. Yet they reminded him of a cat that didn't trust humans yet knew it would be beneficial to follow them anyway. 

Henry turned towards the rocks completely and the dragon dove behind a rock formation. 

He rolled his eyes and continued forward. No one would believe him if he came back to Hydrogia and claimed that dragons were scared of him. He was beginning to doubt Tabitha's words about the dragon choosing him because he had heard it speak.
