Chapter 305: The Future Empress

"It is you, Your Majesty. What brings you here?" Amaya who was lounging on a chair straightened her back and sat property.

"Oh, I just wanted to get some fresh air. There are many annoying people out there and I wanted to escape. The light here seemed inviting so I came up and I was surprised to find you here alone, Princess." King Ralden occupied the lounge chair opposite Princess Amaya and looked at her intently.

"What are you doing here, Princess?" He leaned back lazily on a lounge chair. He crossed his right leg over his left and his hands were resting on his lap.

"I am with Marx earlier. We were stargazing. It is a tradition whenever it is my father's or my mother's birthday." Princess Amaya tried to talk casually. She tried to hide the discomfort she felt everytime she was beside the King of Ra-Iya.

King Ralden lay down on the lounge chair, his hands beneath his head. His gaze was fixed on the dark sheet above that was dotted by silver specks.
